As one of the top city magazines in Florida and recognized nationally for our quality, Sarasota Magazine, owned by DreamLarge, a pioneering B-Corp known for its commitment to social impact and community engagement, is looking for bright, motivated, creative thinkers who can devote up to 15 hours a week to the magazine for a semester or a summer.
Intern positions are unpaid and must be taken for college credit.

Editorial Internship
Responsibilities
Sarasota Magazine is offering invaluable experience in a variety of roles in print and digital magazine journalism. Interns will work a hybrid remote and in-office arrangement that fits their schedule and attend weekly editorial meetings. Familiarity with and curiosity about Sarasota and the surrounding region are essential.
Skills
Candidates should have strong writing and grammar skills, be a journalism, English or communications major or minor, and, ideally, have previous experience writing for a publication. Responsibilities will include generating story ideas, writing for print and digital products, fact-checking, research, interviewing and producing content for sarasotamagazine.com and its newsletters.
Sales and Marketing Internship
Responsibilities
Sarasota Magazine is offering an opportunity to join its marketing department and provide creative ideas to enhance the Sarasota Magazine brand. Interns will work in the office and collaborate with marketing and advertising teams through all stages of multiple marketing campaigns. Interns will support partner prospecting and outreach, assist in proposals, analyze campaign performance and partner ROI, and assist in planning and production of events such as PINCweek and Sarasota Magazine’s Unity Awards.
Skills
Candidates should have strong oral and written communication skills and, ideally, a major or minor in marketing or public relations.
