Sarasota Magazine CEO Anand Pallegar Named Chair of Gulf Coast Community Foundation’s Board of Directors

Pallegar has served on the organization’s board for nearly a decade.

The board of directors of Gulf Coast Community Foundation recently announced that it has elected Anand Pallegar as its chair.

Pallegar, whose portfolio includes DreamLarge, a B-Corp that engages in innovative projects and partnerships to advance the well-being of the community, Sarasota Magazine and AtLarge, a local marketing and branding firm, has served on the Gulf Coast board of directors for nearly a decade, including as immediate past chair of the foundation’s Community Leadership committee. During his tenure, the foundation has provided $605 million in philanthropic impact to the region. 

“I am excited to welcome Anand as chair of our board of directors,” Phillip Lanham, president and CEO of Gulf Coast Community Foundation, said in a press release. “Anand brings a visionary mindset, deep community roots, and a strong commitment to innovation. His thought partnership will help guide our mission and deepen our impact across the region as we work together with our partners towards the greater good.”

In addition to Pallegar, the Gulf Coast board also elected Rose-Ann Frano as vice-chair for a one-year term and welcomed Deb Kabinoff, Elizabeth Moore and Dr. Gail Morrison Morganroth as board members for three-year terms.
